Day 1

You will catch a flight from Zanzibar airport and fly to Arusha airport. Upon arrival at Arusha airport, you will be met by our representative who will pick you up, brief you, and drive to Tarangire National Park. Once inside the park, your game drive will reveal a breathtaking expanse of golden savannah surrounding the Tarangire River. This river serves as a vital water source yearly, especially during the dry season, attracting a diverse array of animals. The riverbanks adorned with acacia and Baobab trees are frequented by the park's prominent elephant population, zebras and antelopes. While enjoying a picnic lunch by the river, be alert as mischievous monkeys may attempt to snatch your food!

As you traverse the park, be prepared to encounter lions, leopards, cape buffalo, and a remarkable variety of antelopes. With some luck, you might even catch a glimpse of endangered species like the Greater Kudu or the Fringe-Eared Oryx.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater and stop at the Crater viewing point after enjoying the crater view then you will descend into the crater which is 600m deep. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the biggest natural world wonders and is the best place in the world to see the Big Five, you will have the opportunity to interact with Maasai people.

The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the black rhino which can be seen in the open grass it is home to over 25,000 animals including a wide range of bird species, lions, elephant, zebra and black rhino. A hot lunch will be served at a picnic area near the hippo pool. After lunch drive you to the heart of Serengeti National Park where you will enjoy a game drive an en-route.
Later arrive at your accommodation where you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Embalakai Serengeti Camp.

Day 3

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Before sunrise around 6 am you leave the tented camp for an early morning game drive. This is generally the best time to spot the wildlife, as the temperature is cool and the animals are still very active, including the big cats, which will be returning from a night of hunting.

You will then drive back to the camp for a leisurely breakfast followed by a pure relaxation break. In the afternoon after lunch, you will then go for another afternoon game drive and sunset viewing over the Serengeti.

In the late evening after the extensive game drive, you'll drive to the tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park to Karatu Town

Today you continue exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Your game drive will start early in the morning around 6 am, this is the best time to spot the big cats as they are more active during the cooler hours of the day, during your game drive you will see a wide variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and many more. You will likely stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the park, this will give you a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views of the Serengeti.

In the late afternoon, as you leave Serengeti you will pass through the Great Rift Valley and stunning landscapes. The drive from Serengeti to Karatu Town is a memorable experience filled with stunning scenery and a chance to see some of Tanzania's diverse wildlife and culture. You will have an en-route game drive to your accommodation, for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Early morning after breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing, this park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos around the lakeshore. A considerable number of animals can also be spotted inside the Lake like elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and Thomson gazelle. The predators of Lake Manyara include lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals.
This park is also noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees which are home to troops baboons and blue monkeys. The shallow alkaline lake covers a large area of the park.

We will serve you lunch at a picnic site and after further exploration of the park in the late afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha City, which marks the end of your adventure with us.

If you would like to have an extra night at Arusha we can arrange for you or if you are flying to your next destination or back home we will transfer you to the airport.
