Arrival – Transfer to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania Northern Circuit! Welcome to Arusha “Geneva of Africa”. Your safari adventure begins in Arusha, Tanzania, on the Northern Circuit safari getaway. When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by an Ozon Light Tours Safari guide. You will board a vehicle and drive to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay. You will check into the accommodation in time for a shower and an African meal. After dinner, you will retire to your room for some rest and relaxation, giving you the opportunity to discover how incredible it is to spend a night in Africa.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at Outpost Lodge, your safari guide will meet you for a briefing, followed by a 2-and-a-half-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Animals found in the park include hippopotamus, giraffes, zebras, elephants, bushbucks, and baboons.

The lake attracts a diverse array of birds, including flocks of pink flamingos and other migratory birds. Lake Manyara is well known for its tree-climbing lions, and you might spot one or two sitting on tree branches if you're lucky. After the wildlife drive, you will be driven to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a wildlife drive in Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is believed to have formed millions of years ago as a result of the eruption of a massive mountain. The crater is home to resident wildebeests and zebras, lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards. Ngorongoro Crater is the place to go if you want to see the Big Five. The lake attracts a wide range of bird species, including flamingos and other migrating birds.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while admiring the breathtaking view of this fantastic location. Following lunch, you will continue on a short afternoon game drive to see more attractions. After the wildlife drive, you will ascend and drive to the lodge in Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drives in Central Serengeti National Park

You will have the opportunity to go on a full-day wildlife drive in Central Serengeti National Park today. If you want to make the most of your safari experience, you can take an optional balloon ride early in the morning.

Your day starts with a delicious breakfast at the lodge, followed by a full-day game drive across the Serengeti, an amazing chance to see the Serengeti's endless grasslands and wildlife. You will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalo. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive and Drive to Arusha

Breakfast will be served in the morning, followed by a morning game drive in Central Serengeti National Park. This is a chance to see more of the animals that Serengeti has to offer. This will also be an excellent opportunity to see nocturnal animals such as bush babies and civets early in the morning. After your morning game drive, you will be driven to Arusha. You will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for a nice lunch and some relaxation time.
