After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, Ngorongoro is home to a dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. As you descend into the crater, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking scenery and have a chance to witness diverse wildlife on the crater floor.

After an exciting game drive and picnic lunch within the crater, you will ascend the crater walls and continue your journey towards the Serengeti. You’ll enjoy a game drive en route as you enter the vast plains of the Serengeti, famous for its endless savannahs and abundant wildlife.

After breakfast, you will depart your camp and begin a game drive en route to the Northern Serengeti. This scenic drive takes you through the heart of the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes, with excellent opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. As you head north, keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly predators on the hunt.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, then continue your journey through the rolling plains and acacia woodlands toward the northern region — renowned for its dramatic landscapes and the famous Mara River crossings during the Great Migration season.

After an early breakfast, you will head out for a game drive along the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti. This area is famous for the dramatic river crossings during the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras brave the crocodile-filled waters in search of greener pastures. With a bit of luck, you may witness this breathtaking wildlife spectacle — one of Africa’s greatest natural events.

Even beyond the migration, the Mara River region is rich with resident wildlife including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, lions, and leopards.

After a memorable morning, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before beginning your game drive en route back to Central Serengeti. Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to spot more wildlife and take in the changing scenery.

After a rewarding morning of wildlife viewing, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch within the park. In the afternoon, continue your game drive en route as you exit the Serengeti and pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
