1-Day Kilimanjaro Climbing Marangu Route

• You'll be collected from the airport.

In the morning, a driver will pick you up from Arusha / Moshi accommodation and transport you to the entrance to the Kilimanjaro National Park (Marangu Gate, 1860m). After at the gate registration, your hike may start, and you will soon be walking into the thick Kilimanjaro rainforest.
There opportunity to see blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and other bird species. You will learn about Kilimanjaro from our knowledgeable English-speaking guide, who will also describe the various plant and animal species you will observe. Also, you'll see mountaineers coming down from the summit.
You will arrive at Mandara Hut (2700m) after a 3- to 4-hour climb, where you may take a well-deserved break and have lunch. After that, your guide will lead you on a quick walk (15 minutes) to the Maundi Crater, from which you can get stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania, and Kenya. After fully savoring the vistas, you will return to the Marangu Gate (a 2- to 3-hour walk away).
