Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be met by one of our representatives who will welcome you and drive you to your carefully chosen luxury accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, we depart for Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is found in the Northern circuit of Tanzania, a protected land filled with colossal baobab trees and herds of giant elephants. The name Tarangire originates from the Mbugwe community, whereby "tara" means river and "ngire" means warthog - the "river of warthogs".
Animals found in Tarangire are lions, leopards, hippos, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, and many more. Beautiful giraffes are seen picking at the tall thorny trees in the park alongside buffalos and wildebeests. Birds like the crested francolins, yellow-necked sparrows, and steppe eagles are among some of the beautiful birds known to peak the interest of dedicated birders.
Lunch will be served inside the park, and after further game viewing, we drive to your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, we depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater, which is 600m deep and has a diameter of approximately 20km, is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is the world’s largest unbroken caldera, with more than 25,000 mammals.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site as well as a geo-park. Animals that can be found inside the crater are lions, buffalos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, gazelles, hippos, and endangered black rhinos. Apart from the animals, the Ngorongoro Crater is home to over 500 bird species like hamerkop, augur buzzard, flamingo, starling, and many more.
Lunch will be served at the hippo pool, whereafter we will drive to Serengeti National Park. After a half-day game drive, you will arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Serengeti National Park to Karatu
After breakfast, we start with an early game drive in Serengeti. Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word “siringet” meaning endless plain, and covers an area of around 14,763 square km, more significant than Connecticut! It is one of the most incredible national parks on the continent.
The park is home to all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and the endangered black rhino). The park also has predators such as hyenas, wild dogs, and cheetahs roaming the green savannah. The predators hunt prey such as zebra, eland, and antelope. The majestic giraffes can be seen picking at the tall acacia trees in the park. Crocodiles are found in the Grumeti and Mara Rivers, and hippos are spotted in the adjacent rivers.
Lunch will be served inside the park after which we will drive to your accommodation in Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Mto wa mbu Cultural Tour to Arusha
Mto wa mbu Cultural Tour to Arusha
During this half-day tour, you will have the opportunity to meet the local inhabitants of Mto wa Mbu and observe how they provide for themselves. Part of the tour is experiencing how Tanzania’s lands are farmed and how its products are processed. You’ll learn about the uses of different bananas and get a chance to try Tanzania’s very own banana beers, a local brewery of the Chagga tribe.
Furthermore, we learn about some other unique trades and craftsmanship that are only practiced by certain communities in Tanzania, such as the wood-carving skills of the Makonde tribe. You’ll also get a chance to visit a local school and church to see what daily life in Tanzania looks like.
After lunch, we will drive to Arusha.
