After breakfast, our journey takes us to the captivating Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that flows through it, this reserve is a lifeline for wildlife during the dry season. You will have breakfast at the lodge then our friendly and experienced driver will pick you up directly from the lodge with packed lunch and transport you on a comfortable drive through stunning landscapes. As we approach the lake Eyasi.

Lake Eyasi is a saltwater lake located in the Rift Valley of northern Tanzania. It is surrounded by stunning landscapes that are home to the Hadzabe and Datoga people, two of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. Visiting Lake Eyasi offers a unique opportunity to learn about the traditional lifestyles and cultures of these fascinating communities. Take a guided tour to meet the locals, observe their daily activities, and try your hand at hunting and gathering with them. You can also explore the lake and its surroundings, which are home to an abundance of wildlife, including flamingos, pelicans, and a variety of water birds.

This morning, our journey takes us to Lake Manyara National Park with delicious, packed lunch.

The park is situated just 120km west of Arusha and offers a contrasting blend of compactness and grandeur, with the towering Great Rift Escarpment overlooking the western boundary and the shallow, Salt Lake after which the park is named.
Lake Manyara is a haven for birdwatchers, hosting thousands of wading birds, including vibrant flamingos, alongside more than 500 other bird species. As we venture into the park's thick evergreen forest, you may have the chance to spot baboons and elephants. Keep your eyes peeled for the legendary tree-climbing lions that have become synonymous with Manyara and are a sought-after sight throughout Africa.
