Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

On day 1 of your safari, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport by your driver-guide in a 4WD minivan. Drive south to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, which is a drive of approximately 4.5 hours.

You will arrive at camp in time for lunch and check-in. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive at 3:30 PM, then return to the camp for dinner and a night's rest.

Awake to the noisy calls of the birds and beautiful views of the ice-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. After breakfast and with a picnic lunch, drive through the bush into Amboseli National Park for game viewing,

Get a chance to interact with the giant elephants of Amboseli National Park, the big cats, and bird species such as the lesser and greater flamingos. Enjoy a sweeping view of Amboseli National Park from the viewpoint, where elephants and hippos graze. Return to camp for dinner and a good night's rest.
