After an early breakfast, we'll set off for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River running through it. This vital water source sustains regional wildlife during the dry season.
The park features dense vegetation, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forests.
It's renowned for its elephant families, often congregating by the river, and hosts giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators like lions and leopards follow these creatures closely.
Tarangire boasts more bird breeding species than any other place on Earth. The park is dotted with giant baobab trees, some over 200 years old.
As the day winds down, we'll journey to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park is one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world, celebrated for its vast open plains, extraordinary biodiversity, and the dramatic spectacle of the Great Migration. Located in northern Tanzania, the park spans approximately 14,750 square kilometers and forms part of a larger ecosystem that includes the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and extends into Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve.
The name “Serengeti” is derived from the Maasai word Siringit, meaning “endless plains,” which perfectly describes the park’s sweeping grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see. These plains are interspersed with rocky outcrops known as kopjes, riverine forests, and seasonal wetlands, creating a rich mosaic of habitats that support an incredible diversity of life.
