Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy an early breakfast and a full day in the park with a picnic lunch break out in the wild. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during the migration season from early July to the end of September. Zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and Thomson gazelle are seen regularly. In addition, keep an eye out for leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, as are enormous Nile crocodiles, who patiently wait for their meal as the wildebeest crosses the river on their quest to find fresh grass.

Later, you return to Zebra Plains Mara Camp and enjoy a relaxed evening bush walk accompanied by an experienced guide. The guide will show you the smaller animals and plants of the region while telling them all about their behaviour and the environment in which they live.
