Day 1

Maun - Okavango Delta

You'll wake up early to catch your motor boat into the Delta and transfer to Chief’s Island, located further south. You will meet the “polers” (boat guides) guiding your mokoro down the Delta. Normally the mokoro transfer to the islands takes about an hour depending on which island is on schedule.

You will spend two nights exploring the wilderness on your mokoro and walking. Before each day's activities, you will have breakfast. You will explore most of the Delta from the mokoro and search for wildlife of interest on foot during your walking safaris.

Day 3

You will spend most of the day exploring the Delta by Mokoro and on walks searching for wildlife. You will follow this daily routine for two days as you do walks on various islands looking for signs of animals. You will have two sessions a day: a morning activity and an afternoon activity.

Okavango Delta - Maun

Today, you will have the opportunity to go on a nature walk on Chief’s Island and visit a Xaxaba village, where you will get to see how local people live their lives. You will leave for Maun after completing these activities. This will conclude your safari.
