1-Day Visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You will be met very early in the morning by our guide, after which you will go on a 2-hour trip to the northern part of the Uganda, traveling through the districts of Luweero until you reach Nakasongola, the proud home of the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

This project was developed by the Rhino Fund Uganda and Uganda Wildlife Authority with the goal of re-introducing Black and White Rhinos in Uganda's National Parks. It lies 176 kilometers north of Kampala off Kampala to Gulu. This refuge was intended to breed black and white rhinos and eventually restore their populations in Uganda's protected regions. You will visit a sanctuary that currently houses 13 Southern white rhinos.

You will embark on a walking safari with your armed ranger guide, then to a restaurant for an exciting meal and beverages, before being driven back to your accommodation in Entebbe, where you will arrive late in the evening.
