Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and bring you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. If you arrive late, you can choose to stay overnight in Kampala/Entebbe for less than $100. Alternatively, you can go straight to the mountain gorillas' home in the west.

Driving for 9 to 10 hours is worth it because you get to see beautiful views of the western countryside, the terraced Kabale Hills, fruit shops, and the perfect crossing of the equator line. Along the way, you can also stop for lunch in Mbarara. You will have a chance of doing a game Drive at Queen Elisabeth National Park Before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Some scientists think that pygmy people like the Batwa have been living in Africa's forests near the equator for 60,000 years or even longer. Our tour guide will bring you to their community. They will welcome you into their home and show you the amazing skills they have learned and passed down from generation to generation.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Boat cruise at Lake Bunyonyi

After eating a morning meal, leave with a packed lunch to the place where the gorilla trekking adventure begins. When you reach the UWA briefing point, some local people will entertain you. Then, each group will be given a gorilla family to follow for the day. An armed ranger will accompany you. Because humans and mountain gorillas have a close relationship, it has been discovered that these amazing creatures can easily catch most of the diseases that humans can get. As a result, people who show signs of diseases spread through the air should not get too close to mountain gorillas. Sometimes, they might not be allowed to go trekking if the rangers think it's too dangerous.

The trekking adventure lasts for 1-3 hours and includes walking on slippery paths. After you complete the trek successfully, you will receive a certificate and be taken by car to Lake Bunyonyi to unwind and relax.
