Entebbe To Bwindi National Park

You will take a short flight in the morning from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip. Our guide will meet you at the airstrip and then we will take you for a short game drive at Queen Elisabeth National Park and there after take you for a relaxed walk through the communities to Lake Mutanda. At the lake, you will get to experience riding in a wooden canoe. After that, we will walk to the lodge. Walk a distance of about 19 kilometers, lasting for 6 to 7 hours. Lunch will be provided along the way.
Arrive at your lodge, and take it easy while looking forward to the gorilla trekking adventure happening the next morning.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

You will go to the park office to learn about the trek before it starts. We begin gorilla trekking at 8:00 in the morning. After getting information at the park office, you will hike through a thick and steep forest to find gorillas. You will look for them in the areas where they were spotted making nests the night before. The trekking can take between 2 and 7 hours depending on how quickly you find the gorillas. This is affected by where the gorillas stayed the night. Going trekking can be a challenging adventure, but getting up close to these close relatives of humans is a special reward worth experiencing. After you go gorilla trekking, if you have time in the afternoon, you can visit the Batwa Pygmies for the "Batwa Experience".

Transfer from Bwindi Back to Entebbe

On the final day of your safari, you will be taken to Kisoro Airstrip. From there, you will take a flight back to Entebbe. During the flight from Kisoro to Entebbe, you can see many beautiful views from the sky. When you get to Entebbe International Airport, go to the check-in area to get your boarding pass for your next flight to your next place.
The distance is about 30 kilometers, and it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive or 1 hour and 45 minutes to fly.
