Afterward, take a relaxing coffee break and prepare for the next leg of your journey. Your adventure continues with a thrilling game drive through the renowned Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the foot of the majestic Rift Valley escarpment. This diverse habitat, praised by Ernest Hemingway as "the loveliest I had seen in Africa," features lush acacia woodlands, towering mahogany trees, expansive grassy plains, and the shimmering Soda Lake. Keep your eyes open for herds of zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and the elusive tree-climbing lions. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at the serene Eileen's Trees Inn in Karatu.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will travel via the cooler highlands towards the eastern Serengeti. You’ll reach the plains of Serengeti National Park by midday. This park is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes—short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape. Predators are often seen here. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. You will spend the night at Tukaone Tented Camp inside the park.

Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This morning you will continue with your game drives in the Serengeti. At noon you will leave for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As soon as you reach the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will see the giant caldera below—which makes for a breathtaking view. You will spend the night at Ngorongoro Wild Camp.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water and food supply, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a vast array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park are its predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard—which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Many flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. In the late afternoon you’ll transfer to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5
Tarangire National Park

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your lodge, your adventure begins as you are picked up by your guide for a scenic drive to the breathtaking Tarangire National Park. Established in 1970, this vast park was once a colonial hunting ground and now spans an area roughly the size of Luxembourg. Its remarkable biodiversity makes it a prime location for wildlife enthusiasts. Tarangire is especially famed for harboring one of the largest elephant populations in northern Tanzania. As you journey through the park, the chances of spotting lions, leopards, or even cheetahs are high if luck is on your side. The park’s terrain is strikingly varied, ranging from open savannahs to dense woodlands. Of particular note are the towering baobab trees clustered in the northeastern region—natural monuments that leave every visitor in awe. After the game drive you will head to Arusha or airport.
