Day 1

Start the drive from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Meet and greet our professional tour guide for pick-up from the airport or hotel and proceed on the 6-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch and proceed with a game drive till sunset.

Mikumi National Park is located in the southwest of Tanzania, 300km away from Dar es Salaam along the Morogoro road. After 6 hours of driving, you will cross the park premises where animals can be spotted along the road such as baboons, giraffes, elephants, zebras, lions, leopards and many birds.

Dinner and overnight will be at Mikumi Cottages.

Day 2

Early morning game drive and sunrise then drive back to Dar es Salaam

You will start an early morning game drive at around 6 am to see big cats in action as they are nocturnal animals. You will also see big herds of buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, elephants, prides of lions and many birds. After a drive of 2 to 3 hours, you will head back to the cottages for breakfast before you start your journey back to Dar es Salaam with an en-route lunch.
