Ngorongoro Crater Full game drive

Have breakfast at around 6:00 am and depart to Ngorongoro Crater for an 8-hour park ride. Crater is one of the most amazing and famous Natural Wonders in the World. It is a large, uninterrupted, unflooded caldera, formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed some three million years ago. It is home to the highest density of big game in Africa, including all the Big Five and a multitude of predators. This is a unique place, a natural wonder deservedly inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and in no case should you miss it. The magic of Ngorongoro begins when you are on the edge and gaze down into a tangled forest shrouded in mist. From here, you'll slide down into a wide plain teeming with wildlife. The steep walls rise from 400 to 610 meters from the crater floor, and its base covers 264 square kilometres (19km in diameter). The height of the original volcano must have been between 4,500 and 5,800 meters. And during the evening exit the crater to the Lodge.
