Embark on your Safari from Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will meet and greet with your driver guide and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. This day promises an excellent view of Lake Manyara, close encounters with elephants in the woodlands, and a visit to the renowned Manyara hippo pool, where a multitude of hippos gracefully inhabit the water from morning till evening.
The park provides a magnificent perspective of the 400-meter-deep Great Rift Valley. This geological marvel emerged 22 to 25 million years ago when movement in a vulnerable area of the Earth's crust led to the formation of a rift spanning thousands of kilometers across East Africa.
