The trip begins in Kampala, where you will be picked up from your hotel. Our knowledgeable driver-guide will accompany you throughout the journey as we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive from Kampala to Bwindi takes approximately 7—8 hours, offering a comfortable ride with beautiful scenery along the way.

We will stop at the Equator for photos and a water experiment. We will also stop in Mbarara town for lunch.

Afterward, we will continue our journey directly to the park, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 2

After an early morning feast and packing your lunch, you will transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters in the Rushaga sector for a briefing. Following this, you will search the forest for the mountain gorillas. Depending on their location, this adventure may take a few hours or even an entire day.

Once you find the gorillas, you can spend one hour with them while capturing photographs to remember the experience. It is a truly rewarding experience as you stand just a few meters away and observe these remarkable primates as they eat and care for their young.

After this activity, you will leave for Lake Bunyonyi in the Kabale district. You will arrive in the evening and have the opportunity to relax at a resort overlooking the lake. Alternatively, you may take a boat cruise on the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest in Africa.

Day 3

Transfer to Kampala via the Equator

Transfer to Kampala via the Equator

After enjoying a delightful breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala, where you will stop at the Equator in Kayabwe. Here, you will have the opportunity to take photographs while standing in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres at the same time! You will also witness a local water experiment demonstrating how the Earth is divided into these two hemispheres.

Lunch will be provided along the way. Finally, you will continue to either Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
