Kampala City Tour
The Kampala city tour involves a visit to Uganda's capital. It starts with a tour of the Independence Monument, where a brief story is told about it. Then, while walking, we proceed to Nakasero Market, the largest fruit market in the city center, and then to the old taxi park right in the heart of the city. We later proceed to the King's Palace and finish off with a stop at the Gadhafi Mosque.

Jinja
On this day, we will visit the true source of the great Nile River. There are various optional activities, such as rafting, tubing, cycling in Jinja, or even a quad biking and horse riding challenge. Then, in the afternoon, we will transfer to Sipi Falls.

Sipi Falls
We will hike the three waterfalls that make up the Sipi Falls. After this, we will have a coffee tour, where you will learn how coffee is made locally. We will later have a delightful sundowner on the top of the world, where we will relax and reflect on the day. There will also be optional activities such as abseiling and cycling.

Karamoja
As one of Uganda's only culturally preserved people, the Karimojong community will give us a cultural experience. We will visit a village or manyatta, where we will participate in activities like cultural dressing, games, dances, and folk songs. Since the Karimojong are cattle keepers, we will also visit the kraals and learn about their day-to-day way routine.

Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
We will transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park. This transfer shows us the beauty of this region, and it takes approximately six hours to get to the park. Along the journey, we will see stunning scenery, including that of the Karimojong community's homesteads. We will have an evening drive later.

Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park
We will have a game drive, during which we will see a variety of animals, including giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, ostriches, elands lions, and, if lucky, cheetahs. Cheetahs are only found in this particular national park in Uganda. We will then transfer to Kitgum District for an overnight stay.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Today, we will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. En route to the national park, we shall pass through the heart of northern Uganda's Gulu District. Once a volatile district that faced a lot of insurgency and unrest in the past years, it is currently one of the safest districts in Uganda. We will have an evening game drive later.

Game Drive and Boat Ride
On this day, we will set off early for a morning game drive, hoping to see various wildlife, including giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, kobs, heartbeest, leopards, and lions. The game drive will last approximately four hours before we return to the lodge and relax. In the afternoon, we will have a boat ride on the Nile River that brings us to the bottom of Murchison Falls.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, we will check out and head to the top of the falls to view them from above. Then, we will head to Ziwa to trek the rhinos. The rhinos in Uganda became extinct from the wild due to heavy poaching in the 1980s and 1990s. However, in 2005, an organization currently protecting them reintroduced them to a rhino sanctuary, increasing their numbers from three to over 40. Then, later, we will proceed to Kibale Forest National Park.

Chimpanzee Trekking
We will go for an early morning chimp trek into the forest. The trek lasts approximately four hours. A park ranger leads this activity in small groups of eight within the forest. Later, we will head for a local lunch experience before the Bigodi Swamp walk.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
We will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the second-biggest national park in Uganda. It is home to various species of mammals, water bodies, and forests. Later, we will go for an evening boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. The boat ride brings us up close to animals along the banks of the waters, such as crocodiles, hippos, and elephants.

Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
We will have an early morning game drive on the Kasenyi plains, hoping to see various wildlife ranging from hippos, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, elephants, leopards, and lions, if lucky. Later, we will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking the following day.

Gorilla Trekking
Today, we will enjoy a gorilla trek. For many, this is the climax of the safari. The trek starts in the morning, when you are briefed about the gorillas. Later, in groups of eight, it begins. This activity ranges from four hours to the whole day, depending on the location of the gorillas.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
We will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest park in Uganda but with a diversity of wildlife. We may encounter eland, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, and many others. Lake Mburo National Park is also the only park in Uganda where you can enjoy activities such as park walks, cycling, and horse riding among the wild animals.

Transfer to Entebbe
Return to Kampala/Entebbe with a stopover at the equator to take photos and visit the souvenir shops.
