Upon your arrival, your respective guide and the representative of our company (People’s Tours and Safaris) will welcome you to Namibia the land of the brave. He will transfer you to your first accommodation at Vondelhof Guesthouse. After freshening up from the long flight, your guide will advise you on the time he will meet you at the main area for a city tour to explore Windhoek the capital city of Namibia. However, he will take you to the most important historical areas. Your guide will join you for dinner at one of the most famous restaurants in Windhoek, where he will brief you in detail about your safari within Namibia. Dinner is booked at Joe's Beer House.

Day 2

Windhoek to Kalahari Desert

Windhoek to Kalahari Desert

After having your tasty breakfast at Vondelhof Guesthouse, your guide will meet you at the lobby at 10:00 a.m. You'll head to the southeast area towards the Kalahari Desert to Kalahari Anib Lodge. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you will be at your leisure. The late afternoon will be spent on a nature drive in an open game drive vehicle with the lodge guide to explore the breathtaking air at the red dunes. You'll return to the lodge after the sundowner and freshen up for your dinner. You will have an overnight stay at Kalahari Anib Lodge.

Day 3

Stampriet (Kalahari Desert) to Namib Naukluft Park

Stampriet (Kalahari Desert) to Namib Naukluft Park

Today after your breakfast, you will head to one of the famous highlights of Namibia the Namib Naukluft National Park. Lunch will be served en route. You will arrive at Namib Desert Lodge in the midafternoon where you will stay for two nights. You will explore the remarkable sights of the Namib Desert with your guide. If there is still time today, your guide will take you to a nearby geological attraction or nature drive at the premises. You'll visit Sesriem Canyon where you can have the most magnificent view down in the gorge. You'll return and freshen up for your dinner. You will be advised at the dinner table about the wake-up call for the next morning's exciting activity. After dinner, you will have a good night's rest.

Day 4

Namib Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)

This morning after an early wake-up call, you will meet your guide at the lobby where you will have coffee/tea and rusks. You will set off to Namib Naukluft Park for the Sossusvlei excursion. The earlier you leave to join the queue to the entrance for Sossusvlei, the better. You'll capture the dunes while the light is soft, and the shadows accentuate the towering shapes and curves of the dunes for a stunning photo shoot. The best experience is climbing the highest dune called Big Daddy at Sossusvlei. Once you explore Sossusvlei and Deadvlei and the surroundings for dune fields, you will enjoy a relaxed picnic brunch in the shade of a camelthorn tree. You'll return to the lodge in the early afternoon in time for a late lunch. The late afternoon can be spent visiting Sesriem Canyon if you haven’t visited it the previous day. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure. You'll freshen up for your dinner and the rest for the night.

This day's attractive drive today takes you northwest through the awesome and ever-changing desert landscapes of the Namib Naukluft National Park. It includes the impressive Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyon via Kuiseb pass. You will meet the coast at the port town of Walvis Bay and then continue north to Swakopmund where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside location and cooler coastal breeze for your next two nights. This afternoon, you can explore the town along the waterfront on foot, before dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 6

Swakopmund - Walvisbay - Swakopmund

This morning takes you on the most incredible activity to Walvisbay. You will meet with the local guide at the Waterfront and depart on a half-day Sandwich Harbour tour which starts at 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. You will check in at 8:00 a.m. After checking in, your local guide who will be accompanying you will brief you about the tour, before you take off on the most exciting activity. You will return to the Waterfront where your guide will be waiting for you. You will head back to Swakopmund. Lunch will be served en route. You will return to Swakopmund and the rest of the day can be spent at your leisure. You can also explore the town on foot if not done the previous day. You'll freshen up for your dinner and have a good night's rest.

Day 7

Swakopmund to Damaraland

Swakopmund to Damaraland

Today, you will continue with your safari to the north and east into diverse Damaraland while appreciating the marvellous scenery of the area. Lunch will be served en route. You will pass Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg which peaks at 2,573 m above sea level, and take time to view the game and absorb the vastness of the scenery along the way. You will enjoy the spectacular landscape of Damaraland and the stunning views. You will arrive at the lodge which is built amongst the massive granite boulders. If time allows, this afternoon your guide will take you to visit the nearby attractions and geological sites of the pre-historic Twyfelfontein rock engravings (a UNESCO World Heritage Site)—if not there is plenty of time next morning before you head to Kamanjab to Oppi Koppi Rest Camp.

Just after breakfast, you will continue your safari to Oppi-Koppi Rest Camp. On your way to Oppi Koppi, you will visit
Petrified Forest which is 42km located from Khorixas Rest Camp. You will arrive in mid-afternoon. Lunch will be served en route.
After you settle in, you will meet your tour guide at the main area to go visit the Himba village, where you will meet with the local guide for translations. You will return and freshen up after the Himba village visit for your dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 9

Kamanjab (Himba Village) to Etosha National Park

Kamanjab (Himba Village) to Etosha National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Etosha National Park. You will arrive early in the afternoon and settle in. You'll go to the main area for your light lunch. After your lunch, you will be off in your private vehicle with your guide on an afternoon game-viewing drive where you will visit famous waterholes. If you are lucky, you will spot the predators but otherwise, you will see zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos and many different species of antelopes. You'll return to the resort just before they close the resort gate by sunset. You will freshen up before your dinner. After dinner, you can still relax in the main area watching the game and then rest for the night.

Day 10

Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park

Today is dedicated to a full day of exciting game viewing within the central section to explore Etosha National Park from your private safari vehicle and we want to make the most of it. The park gates open at sunrise and after having an early scrumptious breakfast. You will aim to be early for a game-viewing drive. Early morning is usually a productive time for game viewing since many predators are active mostly in the morning hours. If you are lucky, you will spot some of the hunters busy with the prey they catch for the day. Lunch can be had en route. You will continue with your game-viewing drive and keep a sharp lookout for the game as you drive back to Okaukuejo. You will return to the resort just before sunset and in time for the best hour of the day at Okaukuejo Waterhole. You'll freshen up for dinner and after dinner, you can spend your time watching the game coming and going at the floodlit waterhole and the rest for the night.

Day 11

After your scrumptious breakfast, you will head the road back to Windhoek. On your way after checking out you will see a few animals before you exit the park. You will drive back to Windhoek, and if time allows you will have a stop at the small town of Okahandja at the wood craft market for your last-minute shopping. Lunch is had en route. You will arrive late afternoon back in Windhoek. Your guide will drop you at your accommodation. You will be off on your city tour if not done on the first day of arrival. You will return and freshen up for your dinner at one of the famous restaurants. You will rest for the night. Your guide will advise you what time he will collect you to transfer you to the airport the next day.
