Zanzibar- Arusha Airport- Tarangire National Park

Your adventure kicks off with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, followed by a transfer to Tarangire National Park. You will be departing from Arusha Airport after a brief briefing. You'll embark on an approximately two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. En route, you'll pass through vibrant Maasai villages and the expansive, iconic plains that are synonymous with Africa's imagery.

Upon entering Tarangire, your exhilarating game drive commences, traversing a lush expanse of golden savannah that envelopes the Tarangire River. This water source is frequented by the park's abundant elephant population, as well as other herbivores like zebras and antelopes. If luck is on your side, you may even catch a glimpse of rare and endangered species such as the greater kudu or the fringe-eared oryx. After a day filled with adventure, you'll retire to your accommodation for a restful evening.

Tarangire national park-Flight to Zanzibar

Following breakfast, your journey continues into Tarangire, a true haven for photographers and a destination renowned for offering some of the world's finest game viewing. You can expect to encounter many of Africa's most iconic animals, with the tree-climbing lions being a particular highlight. These majestic predators leisurely recline in acacia trees, practically posing for your camera.

Bird enthusiasts will be in for a treat at Tarangire, as the park is a haven for a diverse array of bird species. Even if you're a novice, you'll be astounded by the sight of vast flocks of flamingos, majestic birds of prey soaring above, and the vibrantly colored lilac-breasted roller.

Later in the afternoon, you'll return to Arusha for your flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our driver will be there to greet you and transport you to your hotel for a relaxing stay.
