3-Day Murchison Falls and Ziwa Rhino Trekking

Transfer from Entebbe and Rhino Trekking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Our driver-guide will arrive at an agreed place of your convenience at 6:30 am, you will have a briefing about the safari, and then head north to Murchison Falls National Park, driving through the famous Luwero triangle then head north to Murchison Falls National Park. Your first stopover will be at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking. The trek can take anything from a few minutes to an hour, depending on where the Rhinos are located within the sanctuary. You will receive a briefing from the ranger guide and start on your rhino trek thereafter. After this experience, you will have lunch at Kabalega Dinners and then proceed to the park, where you will arrive late in the evening.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Nile

You will have breakfast at 6:00 am and then at 6:30 am, head out for an early morning game drive. You will drive through the northern bank of the park in search of various animals. The highlight of this trip is game viewing in our custom-made vehicles, where you are able to capture your favorite moments in pictures of Giraffes as they move through the grasslands, buffalo, Jackson's hartebeest, lions, herds of buffalo, etc. You will be looking for the remaining Big 4, having seen the Rhinos the previous day at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

In the afternoon, you'll take the famed boat safari on the River Nile from where you will watch different animals along the shore and continue to about ten meters from the bottom. Afterward, you will go back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Viewing the Murchison Falls and Transfer back to Entebbe

You will rise early for breakfast at 6:00 am and then prepare to check out of the lodge at 7:00 am. You will head back to Kampala. We drive to the top of Murchison Falls, where the 1 km wide Nile is forced into a 7-meter gap to a thunderous roar —known as the most powerful falls. There is a beautiful rainbow formed, making a contrast with the crashing water. After the experience, you'll proceed to Kampala, having lunch en route at Kabalega Dinners. Our driver will drive you to your agreed place or to the airport.
