Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, you will leave Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park. You will arrive at Serengeti National Park, where you will do an evening or sunset game drive heading to the central part of the park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. An area of ​​about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, of which 80 % is located in Tanzania.

The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and their followers, thousands of predators are moving because of the drought in the northern hills to the southern plains. After the rains in mid-April, they go back via a detour through the western part. The grasslands cover more than one-third of the park, where you will find many animals throughout the year.
At the end of the afternoon, you'll arrive at the camp in the middle of the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti. This day allows you plenty of time to explore different areas of the park and experience its remarkable wildlife and landscapes. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may have opportunities to see large herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing your exploration until late afternoon. Return to your accommodation for dinner and your second overnight stay in Serengeti.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game drive en route as you gradually leave the Serengeti. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the crater for a spectacular game drive through one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife areas. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. After enjoying a picnic lunch in the crater, ascend and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
