Arusha to Tarangire national park

Your driver-guide will pick you up from the airport to begin your adventure. The drive from Arusha to the Tarangire gate takes approximately 2 hours (120 km). Popularly known as the Elephant Playground, Tarangire offers an incredible variety of wildlife and vast, scenic landscapes. Large herds of elephants roam freely here, along with lions, buffalos, gazelles, zebras, and gnus.

Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro crater

The crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including a high density of large mammals. It is often referred to as a natural 'bowl of plenty' due to its rich biodiversity. Animals such as lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinoceros, and wildebeest inhabit the area, along with a diverse array of bird species. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, within which the crater is located, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. This status reflects its significance in terms of both natural and cultural heritage. Visitors have the opportunity to explore every inch of this crater, marveling at its diverse ecosystems and observing the interactions between different species.

Ngorongoro to lake manyara

The park is known for its varied ecosystems, including the lake, dense groundwater forest, open grassy areas, and the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment. The groundwater forest is home to a variety of tree-climbing lions, a unique behavior exhibited by a few lion populations in the park. Lake Manyara is a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with over 400 bird species recorded in the park. It's a significant destination for bird watching, especially during the wet season when migratory birds are present. After a day trip to lake manyara we will drive you safe to airport to fly back to Zanzibar.
