Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast at the city hotel, you will depart for a magical drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s famous game reserve. You will stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from outer space. You'll arrive on time for lunch at the camp. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries where the great wild beasts’ migration can be viewed. In the Mara River, throngs of hippos and crocodiles lurk. The reserve is also known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
We will later drop you off at the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
