Lusaka

Your guide will pick you up from the airport in Lusaka and then take you to do some shopping for the next few days. You will then drive to a small lodge on the outskirts of town for your overnight stay in chalets at Wilddog Lodge or Pioneer Camp. Dinner will be at a restaurant.

Lower Zambezi National Park

Rise early for breakfast and be driven through Lusaka and down the escarpment to the Zambezi Valley. Visiting the Lower Zambezi Park will be one of the highlights of your trip in Zambia. The Zambezi River on one side and the escarpment on the other form a wonderful backdrop for your game viewing. We can also take you on amazing game drives through the park. Your overnight stay will be in Kasaka River Lodge (or similar) on the banks of the Zambezi River. (2x FB).

Lower Zambezi National Park

Spend another amazing day on safari in Lower Zambezi National Park. We will take you on a game drive in the morning and a sunset cruise in the afternoon. On your cruise you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the animals come to drink from the river. Your overnight stay will be in safari tente at Kasaka River Lodge on the bank of the Zambezi River. (FB).

Transfer to Kafue National Park

Today we drive up the escarpment and back to Lusaka where we do some shopping for the next days in the bush. In the afternoon we carry on to Kafue National Park, where we stay in beautiful chalets at Mukambi Safari Lodge on the banks of the Kafue River. (FB).

Busanga PLains

Transfer in north-western direction to Busanga Plains (partly with the boat up to Lufupa). This area can only be visited in a very limited time of the year. You will spend 3 days in this remote wilderness to explore the area on game drives and game walks. Overnight in Kasonso Camp (2x FB).

Kafue National Park - Eastern part

After a last morning game drive we drive back to the Lufupa River, where a boat is waiting for us for a transfer upstream to Hippo Lodge. This part of the river impresses with its beautiful riverine scenery. We will do game drives in this area on day 9. Overnight in Chalets of Hippo Lodge. (2x FB).

Lusaka

We leave this beautiful park with its stunning river and wildlife and carry on to Lusaka, where we will spend the afternoon at the lodge of do some shopping in the capital. Overnight in chalets at Wilddog Lodge or similar. Dinner in the restaurant. (B/L/-).
