Fly to the Greater Kruger

You will fly from Johannesburg OR Tambo into Hoedspruit airport. On arrival, you are met by our local representative for the road transfer into camp.

Karongwe Game Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary located between 4 rivers which provide exceptional habitats for diverse flora, fauna and prolific birdlife. This untamed and tranquil Eden, positioned on 9000 hectares of land, offers excellent chances to view the Big Five, and is one of the best locations to spot Africa's most elusive large cat, the Leopard.

Experience your first game drive in an open vehicle with a ranger and a tracker and return to the lodge for dinner and night.

Daily scheduled and shared game drives and walking safaris (on request) are guided by superb rangers and trackers, many of whom are from this specific area, and intimately acquainted with its cultural traditions.

Your day start by an early wake up call, before the game drive and back at the lodge for breakfast. Enjoy lunch before the afternoon game drive and return to the lodge for a delicious meal under the stars.

Your last morning in the bush, you have breakfast at the lodge before the check out.

Road transfer to Hoedspruit airport, on time for the return flight to Johannesburg (flight included).
