Arrive Entebbe International Airport and go through the checks and receive a warm meet and greet from our company representative. Transfer to Kampala for dinner and overnight. If you arrive early in the day a city tour of Kampala will be possible to see how people do life and enjoy an aroma packed cup of coffee before returning to your overnight Hotel.

Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Have an early sumptuous breakfast and proceed for your Uganda tour with a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park a must-see for a variety of wildlife.
Stopover for rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a private sanctuary under Rhino Fund an organization that works towards re-introducing Rhinos into Uganda’s wilderness.
Proceed to have lunch in Masindi and thereafter enter the park and head to check in at our overnight accommodation.

Day 3

Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park

Today we start off early with a game drive at dawn to spot a variety of early riser nocturnal animals and other wildlife like: lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, leopards, warthogs, giraffes, water and bush bucks, topi, oribi plus plenty of bird species.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax/swim waiting to have lunch, and thereafter go for a boat cruise along River Nile ending at the bottom of the falls. The wildlife species to lookout for on the boat cruise, include: huge schools of hippopotamus, birds and Nile crocodiles along the river banks. See where the world’s longest river makes a loud and forceful way through a narrow crevice in the Rift Valley escarpment to dropping into a foaming pool several meters below. Have your cameras well charged to take some memorable pictures.

Day 4

Transfer to Kibale

Transfer to Kibale

Start off early, driving southward via Hoima to Fort Portal along the Albertine Rift escarpments through a countryside with plush vegetation, homesteads and farms. Have a lunch stop en-route and continue to arrive in the evening. Check in to stretch, refresh and lift your feet up in wait for dinner.

Day 5

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi walk

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi walk

After breakfast, go to the park headquarters for briefing about the primates and the park rules before heading into the tropical rain forest to search for the chimpanzees and other primates like the white and black Colubus, vervet monkeys, and grey cheeked mangabey among others. Return for lunch and thereafter go to Bigodi wetland for a nature walk in search of the rare shoe bills, sitatungas and primates. Bigodi nature walk is run and owned by the local community. Going for this activity gives back to the community and is a direct way of contributing to conservation because the local community is diverted from looking at the forest for their survival.

Day 6

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, we’ll drive southward to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with sightseeing along the way arrive to check in at your overnight accommodation and have a relaxed evening and early dinner in preparation for gorilla trekking the next day. Bwindi is cold and will allow you a restful night.

Day 7

Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking

Gorilla tracking begins at 8:00 am with a brief from the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, before heading into the forest led by the ranger guides.
You will be led to see the gorilla group/family you have been booked to visit, and don’t forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorillas. Gorilla tracking is the best part of your Uganda tour and perhaps one of the most thrilling wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may last between 2 and 8 hours but it’s all worth the effort.
On return from the jungle you will go for a village Walk or community visit if time allows. This provides a great opportunity to meet and see how the local people live and learn about the mountain gorilla’s human neighbors and interact with them.

Day 8

Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park

A relaxed start of the day with breakfast and thereafter get bags ready for the road transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive goes through beautiful local communities, farmlands with great scenery and the unique western rift valley. Arrive the park via the Isha isha Sector aiming to search around for a chance to see the tree climbing lions. Proceed to Mweya for the 3:00 pm-5;00pm boat ride along the Kazinga Channel offering great opportunities to see hippopotamus, lots of water birds, elephants coming down to drink on a lucky day and more.

Transfer to Entebbe

Transfer to Entebbe

After a relaxed breakfast embark on the return journey to Entebbe with a lunch stopover along the way. The next stop is at the curio shops by the Equator for possible souvenirs to take home. We also stop at a local drum makers’ shop to have a look at some beautiful hand made drums and listen to a brief narration of how they are made. Arrive Entebbe to stretch, relax, and wind off the day with a quiet dinner.
