Day 1

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your adventure safari will begin with a pick-up from your hotel at 7am. After a short briefing of the safari you will start your journey to Masai Mara National Park. Our first stop-over is at the Great Rift Valley Point, to view the breath-taking landscape. Proceed to Masai Mara via the Narok town and on to the Masai Mara National Park, famous worldwide for its sensational wildlife safari experience. Thousands of species can be found here traversing the expansive plains of Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for your afternoon game drive in search of zebra herds, elephants, lions, warthogs, giraffes, among many others. The game viewing will continue till the sun goes down and the shadows of the animals cast themselves against it, creating a perfect moment for your wildlife photography. Later we will go back to the lodge, for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Masai Mara

You have an option to start the day with a balloon safari at an extra cost available on pre-arrangement.

You’ll leave the lodge with picnic lunches in the morning after breakfast and head to the park for a full day of exploring the stunning wild plains of Maasai Mara. Hyenas can be seen scavenging for a meal, while a lion chases its prey and zebras huddle together in numbers for safety. Large herds of elephants can be seen roaming on the plains, while the elusive leopard tries to hide on top of a tree, a buffalo fights a lion pride trying to make it their food for the day. These are just some of the surreal safari experience moments found in Maasai Mara. In the months of July- October, you may witness the annual stunning spectacle in this reserve, watching the Wildebeest Migration. After the game drive, an optional local Maasai Village visit can be arranged at the end of the day at an extra cost. Later we will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

You will have an early breakfast so that your early morning game drive will start on time. The early morning game drive gives you a chance to catch the big cats hunting as you take in the unique sights for the last glimpse. The guide will give you an in-depth understanding of the wildlife. Later we exit the park and depart for Lake Nakuru. You can see Mt Longonot from afar on your way, as you take in the beauty of the Rift Valley Landscape. Upon arrival, you will check-in to your hotel, for resting from the long drive or go for a game drive depending on your arrival time. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi

Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi

After your breakfast, your guide will pick you from the hotel and head to the Lake Nakuru National Park for an extensive game drive. This park is a bird lover’s paradise; over 400 species of birds have been recorded here. The pink flamingos paint the lake shores a vivid pink color, contrasting the black and white stripes of the zebras grazing around the lake. Tree climbing lions can be seen on the tree branches, staring at your safari vehicle. The endangered white and black rhinos pass by your safari van before they walk on. Looking closely in the trees, you will spot the antelopes, giraffes, and gazelles. Later we will exit the park and head to Nairobi with lunch en-route.

In Nairobi, you will be dropped off to your hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
