You will be picked up from your hotel room or the airport in the morning and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya's famous game reserve. You'll stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from outer space. You'll arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive, which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of the Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2-3

You will be taken on two game drives today —one in the morning before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best times to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best wildlife viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. This is a bush experience that will surely create lifetime memories. You'll return to the camp for a mouthwatering breakfast. You have the option of joining a balloon safari at an extra cost. Your guide will then take you to the nearby Maasai village, where you will get a chance to see the Maasai way of life (optional) at an extra cost. You'll return to the camp for lunch before setting out for an evening game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 4

After breakfast, you'll depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift Valley. You'll arrive in the flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. You will embark on a comprehensive game drive in this scenic park, including visits to viewpoints which offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes, and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals, including the white rhino and buffalo, and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Apart from flamingoes, which Lake Nakuru is known for, the park also has a significant population of all the Big Five, except the elephant. Black and white rhinos, hippos, waterbucks, Burchell’s zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle are all common here.

Day 5

You will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things —majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. One of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. On a clear evening, you can get a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffalo, gazelles, and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. There is also a chance to visit the local communities in their nearby villages at an extra cost. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 6

This being a full day in the Amboseli, you will have the option of a full day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is the home to great herds of elephants, and with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, it is a favorite spot for photographers. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffalo, gazelles, and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. During clear days, you may also view the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the tallest mountain in Africa. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will load your luggage in the vehicle and get ready to bid Amboseli goodbye with lunch en route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or at your hotel.
