Day 1

Your Safari to Go adventure begins with an early departure from Truck Port in Windhoek at 06:00 AM. After meeting your guide and fellow travelers, you travel southwest through the scenic Khomas Hochland Mountains.
The journey continues across wide open desert plains and mountain passes, offering breathtaking views of Namibia’s rugged landscapes. Along the way, your guide will stop for scenic viewpoints and a light refreshment break.
You arrive at Namib Desert Lodge (or similar) in the early afternoon. After check-in, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.
In the late afternoon, you may join an optional sundowner dune drive offered by the lodge, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Namib Desert while watching the sun set over the ancient fossil dunes.
Dinner will be served at the lodge restaurant before you settle in for the night under Namibia’s star-filled.

Day 2
Sossusvlei Excursion – Deadvlei – Dune 45 – Sesriem Canyon

Today begins with an early breakfast before departing for the iconic Namib-Naukluft National Park.
Your guide will take you deep into the park towards the legendary Sossusvlei, home to some of the highest sand dunes on earth. The morning light creates spectacular colors and shadows across the dunes, making it a paradise for photographers.
Highlights of the day include:
Dune 45 – One of the most photographed dunes in the world. Guests may climb the dune for incredible panoramic views of the desert.
Deadvlei – A surreal white clay pan dotted with ancient camelthorn trees that have been standing for more than 600 years. This dramatic landscape is surrounded by towering red dunes.
Big Daddy Dune – The tallest dune in the Sossusvlei area for those who want an extra challenge.
After exploring the dunes, the journey continues to Sesriem Canyon, a natural gorge carved by the Tsauchab River over millions of years. Guests can take a short walk inside the canyon.

Day 3
Namib Desert – Solitaire – Windhoek
Namib Desert – Solitaire – Windhoek
After breakfast at the lodge, the journey back to Windhoek begins.
You will stop at the small desert settlement of Solitaire, famous for its traditional bakery and rustic charm. Many travelers enjoy tasting the legendary apple pie while stretching their legs before continuing the journey.
The drive back offers more scenic views of Namibia’s vast desert landscapes and mountain passes.
Arrival in Windhoek is expected in the late afternoon where you will be dropped off at the Truck Port or nearby meeting point.
Your Safari to Go desert adventure ends with unforgettable memories of Namibia’s breathtaking landscapes.
