Today – Early Morning Departure to Mikumi National Park
You will be picked up early in the morning from Dar es Salaam (exact pickup point to be confirmed), and begin your journey to Mikumi National Park. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours, offering scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside along the way.
Upon arrival at the park, you’ll begin an exciting game drive, exploring Mikumi’s rich wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, and various antelope species, as well as a variety of birdlife.
In the late afternoon or early evening, you will head to Vuma Hills Tented Lodge, where you’ll check in and relax for the night surrounded by nature.

Your guide will explore various areas of the park to maximize sightings and share insights along the way.
