Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After an early morning transfer from the central Serengeti, we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Here, you will encounter a rich variety of wildlife including lions, buffalos, zebras, hyenas, antelopes, and—if we are lucky—the rare rhinoceros. A scenic picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the crater lake. After the game drive, you will be transferred back to Arusha city, where our services conclude.

The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera, was formed 2 to 3 million years ago after a massive volcanic explosion. Rising 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level, it is home to about 30,000 animals and an incredible diversity of bird species, making it one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens.

Main Destination:
Ngorongoro Crater
Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)
High Season Most of the year – July to March (Expect crowds)
Best Weather June to October (Rainfall is little to none)
