| Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

On the first day of safari you will be picked up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam or at the Airport and start on your drive to Mikumi National Park along the Dar es Salaam – Morogoro highway. The park is nestled beautifully nestled between the Uluguru Mountains. Dar es Salaam to Mikumi takes about 5 to 6 hours. After lunch our guide will drive you to Masai Community for cultural experience for half day and return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

| Game tour in the Mikumi National Park

Spend a full day with game drives around the Mikumi National Park with a packed lunch or do morning and afternoon game drives with a packed lunch. Among the animals that can be spotted at Mikumi includes giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, warthogs, zebras, wildebeests, elands and many other antelopes. Apart from game drives in the park you can also go for a guided walking safari guided by an armed ranger. Overnight at Camp Bastian at Mikumi located outside the park. Lunch box and dinner included.
