Day 1

On arrival, we will immediately transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for briefing about Gorilla trekking experience, registration, gorilla group allocation and later enter the jungle forest to start the search for the mountain gorillas in 2-4 hours you will be right with the gorillas, you will be allowed one full hour with the gorillas taking photos and videos, thereafter head back to the briefing point and transfer to your lodge, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After a very early breakfast, we will drive southwestward towards lake kivu, this 3 hrs journey is both scenic and picturesque on arrival we we check and take a boat ride on Lake Kivu visiting the fishing villages, return to have lunch and after lunch enjoy the rubavu city tour around the Lake kivu.
