Airport Pick Up to Arusha

Your pick-up from the airport might be at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport by our staff where you will be driven to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay and briefed about your safari the next day. If you arrive in the afternoon, you will get a free town tour from our local guide to important places in Arusha like the Maasai Market, local market, coffee tour, and other places in Arusha.

Tarangire National Park

You'll depart early after breakfast from Arusha you will drive across a beautiful and scenic Masai Steppe to Makuyuni junction and take left along the Arusha—towards Tarangire National Park. Arrive at the park’s gate at Tarangire and after your driver has sorted out the paperwork you start game drives almost straight away from the gate in a bid to see as many animals and birds as possible. Your professional safari guide will take you to the best wildlife-spotting areas of the park including the Tarangire River which is a permanent river that works as a bloodline for the park ensuring animals flock to the river banks in search of water throughout the year. You can expect to see elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes, and a lot of birds. Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic sites. Later in the afternoon, you will drive out of the park and your guide will take you to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater-Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater. It is considered one of the Wonders of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhinos. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a wonder of the natural world. After the game drive and hot lunch in the Picnic site in the crater, you will continue with driving out heading to Serengeti where you will arrive in the evening and your guide will drive you to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Northern Serengeti National Park

On these two incredible days, you will be driven across remote locations within the vast Serengeti plains in pursuit of the Great Migration. The areas you visit depend on the time of the year and could be as far as the remote North of the Serengeti near the border with Kenya, or could be in the South (Ndutu Area) or even in the Western part of the park.

There is flexibility on these days to adjust and you can upgrade/change accommodation depending on where migration herds are during the time of booking.

Central Serengeti National Park

Another full-day game drive is a good option this day to spot the nocturnal species and the diurnal ones as they rise for a new day. During the morning also, many animals will easily be spotted by the sides of the tracks as they escape the morning dew, and enjoy the songs of the rising birds. Depending on the time and season that you visit Serengeti, you can be lucky to see the herds of the Great Wildebeests Migration (ask our experts for their location). Even without the wildebeest migration herds in Serengeti; thousands of resident animals including buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, topis, Thompsons, and Grant’s gazelles, impalas, warthogs, and many bird species that never are resident to this incredible park.

Fly Back to Zanzibar Island /Arusha

After the Serengeti early morning game drive, you will get back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, your guide will drive you to the Serengeti airstrip ready to fly back to Zanzibar or back to Arusha or Dar es Salaam.

This will be the end of your safari with us.
