A short rest in Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you shall be transferred to the hotel where you shall check in be served dinner and be briefed about your tour on various destinations to visit as well as the do's and don’ts at each destination. You'll spend the day resting as your prepare to start your safari.

Transfer to Samburu
Leave for Samburu in the early parts of the day. You'll appreciate the landscape as you drive through various mountain ranges and the Great Rift Valley and great views and scenery as you move from Nairobi to Samburu. The expected arrival time at Samburu will be around lunchtime. You shall have a short game drive where you might spot leopards, tortoises, impalas, dik-diks, zebras, Grant gazelle, and elephants, among others. You shall be spending your nights at the magnificent Sasaab Lodge, with great views and the fact that it is frequented by wild animals.

Exploring the Samburu Special Five & Huge Herds of Elephants at Samburu
Spend the entire day in Samburu National Reserve, with game drives. Samburu is famous for its Samburu Special Five, Grevy’s zebra, with their intelligent pin-stripe pattern; gerenuk, of the impressively stretchy neck; Beisa oryx, with pointed horns and distinctive markings; reticulated giraffe, clad in attractive coats; and Somali ostrich, a feathery delight. You will also be able to see the Ewaso Nyiro River which cuts through the park and provides nourishment and sustainability for the Fauna and wildlife in the park. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Explore Kenyan Highlands and wildlife at Aberdare National Park
Kenyan Highlands, Forest Elephants, huge herds of buffalos and uninterrupted views of Mt. Kenya is what await you in the Aberdares. Subtly coined the Scotland of Kenya, this region shares similar climatic conditions to Scotland, with snow being the only exception. Game drives are rewarding and as an introductory destination to Kenya Safari, you'll get a glimpse of the history of Kenya's Safari.
A typical game drive will give you an opportunity to spot the Forest Elephants, Bongo, Buffaloes and hyenas. The park is also home to a wide variety of bird life including Bulbul, Shrikes, and Sparrows among others.
Breakfast is included, with lunch always served at the lodge. Later in the evening, you'll be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and accommodation.

Hot Springs and Flamingos of Lake Bogoria
Head to Lake Bogoria. Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, and expect a change of weather to a warmer climate. Lake Bogoria is a saline alkaline lake that lies in a volcanic region, a little north of the equator. The lake is covered with endless swarms of bright, pink flamingoes. Dotting this lake and surrounding areas, steamy hot springs enhance the already dreamlike atmosphere. Now add in the sight of numerous bubbling geysers erupting along the banks and from within the lake itself.
On your game drive and you might see animals such as Leopard tortoise, Impala, Dik-dik, Zebras, Grant gazelle, Warthog among others.
A light break with lunch at the resort before heading out for an afternoon/evening game drive at the Lake where you shall have a chance to walk a few meters to the hot springs and have a breathtaking view of the Great Rift Valley. You might see bird species such as African fish eagles, Flamingos, Grey crowned cranes, and Hamercop among others.

Unique adventure at Hell's Gate
The park was used as inspiration for the award-winning Lion King Animation. The landscape here is surreal and offers a safe haven for wildlife as there are no predators here, making it safe for one to walk or cycle around the park. Get up-close with giraffes, zebras and gazelles as you traverse through the park, either on foot, cycling or in your vehicle. Safari walks are always conducted with an armed ranger.

The Big Five & large concentration of Wildlife in Maasai Mara
Have breakfast at your lodge then check out. Have a game drive on your way out of the park as you embark on a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
With a huge concentration of Wildlife, Maasai Mara is among the best parks for a truly remarkable African Safari. The biggest highlight of any Mara adventure is the annual wildebeest migration, crossing over from Serengeti into Mara for greener pastures. The Big Five also call this place home, with spotting a leopard relatively easy.

End of Safari
Your last day on this safari. You will start the day with an early morning before heading back to the camp for breakfast and check out. You will have an en-route game drive as you check out from Masai Mara. Expected time in Nairobi is around lunchtime. Head to a hotel for lunch or opt to have your lunch at the Carnivore.
