Pick up and transfer to Bwindi

On this first day on the 4 days Bwindi gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi, our driver guide will pick you from the Airport, brief you about the safari and then hit the road to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and then visit then Ankole museum where you will enjoy a fascinating history of the Banyankole. You will later embark on your journey to Bwindi arriving in the Park in the evening hours, connecting direct to your accommodation, and check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Arise in the morning for a scrumptious breakfast and be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking where you will later be divided into groups and be assigned gorilla family to track. You will be with your packed lunch and drinking water. Gorilla trekking takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on where the gorillas will have slept the last night, you will spend an hour with the gorillas and then head to the pack headquarters for a gorilla trekking certificate and then head to the lodge to check-out and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi arriving in the evening hours, check-in to the lodge, relax, have dinner and overnight stay.

Boat cruise and Batwa cultural tour

On this day, you will rise in the morning enjoy your delicious breakfast and then head to the lake for boat cruise. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of terraces around the Lake, you will visit the punishment island where the pregnant unmarried girls were dumped to starve till death. You will swim since the lake has bilharzia free waters and after that, you will go back to the lodge for lunch and after lunch you will visit the Batwa community who have been in the forest and known for fruit gathering and hunting, they will dance for you, sing for you, they will take you through their ancient lifestyle and in the evening you retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Arise in the morning for a scrumptious breakfast, check-out and head back to Kampala, stopover will be in Mbarara for lunch and then embark on the journey to Kampala. You will have a second stopover Equator where you take pictures and then embark on the journey to Kampala and this will mark the end of your trip. This trip can be tailor-made in case you have more days to explore the beauty of Uganda.
