After arrival at the JKIA, You will be picked up by our driver and transferred to (Tamarind Tree Hotel) as you explore Nairobi. The vibrant capital city offers a unique blend of urban allure and natural wonders.

Nairobi is home to various attractions, but one of its standout features is the Nairobi National Park. Conveniently located just outside the city center, this remarkable wildlife park is a testament to Kenya's commitment to preserving its natural heritage. The park boasts a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, cheetahs, and numerous bird species. A game drive experience is unique as it provides a rare opportunity to observe the wildlife against a contemporary city skyline backdrop. We've scheduled a game drive in the afternoon after checking in at Tamarind Tree Hotel and having lunch (Lunch cost not included).

After the game drive, you'll return to the hotel for dinner(meal cost not included)and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve by Road

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve by Road

After an early morning breakfast, around 6.30 am, our driver will transfer you to Samburu by road. The journey will be a scenic one. Leaving Nairobi behind you, you'll witness the bustling city life gradually fading. As you venture further north, the landscape morphs into rolling hills dotted with small towns and rural villages. You'll pass vast farmlands and open plains, where you might spot herds of livestock grazing peacefully.

Further into the journey, you'll approach the shadow of Mount Kenya, the country's highest peak.
As you near Samburu, the terrain becomes drier. The lush greens give way to semi-desert landscapes with thorny bushes and scattered acacia trees.

Once you arrive at the park, you'll check into Samburu Sopa Lodge which is inside the park, have lunch, and embark on an afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, you'll return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Exploring the Wildlife Heritage at Samburu National Reserve

Wake up to an early morning game drive, where our experienced guide will ensure you see as much of the early morning action in the animal kingdom.
Samburu National Reserve is renowned for its unique and fascinating wildlife. Here, you can witness the "Special Five" - the Gravy's zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and Gerenuk antelope - which are not commonly found in other Kenyan parks.
You'll get to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Ewaso Ng'iro River, which attracts a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Return to the lodge for breakfast as it gets hot during the day, and afterward, relax indoors or splash by the pool. You'll be served buffet lunch.
Venture out on an afternoon game drive. As the evening approaches and the sun sets, the park undergoes a magical transformation; casting a warm golden glow on the landscapes, making it an ideal time for photography.

Day 4

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

It's time to bid Samburu goodbye and embark on a journey to Nakuru National Park.

Moving on to Lake Nakuru National Park, you'll discover a bird lover's paradise. The park is home to abundant bird species, notably the dazzling pink flamingos that flock to the alkaline lake. Explore the lush landscapes and spot other wildlife like rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, Rothschild's giraffes, and endangered white and black rhinos. This is the only Kenyan game park where you will likely encounter tree-climbing lions!

After arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park, you'll check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge and have lunch. Then, get to enjoy an afternoon game drive. Later, go to the Baboon Cliff for a bird’s eye view of the lake.

In the evening, you'll return to the hotel at around 6.00 pm for refreshment and relaxation- the cooling effect of the pool beckons after a long day. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Day 5

Lake Nakuru NP to Nairobi

Lake Nakuru NP to Nairobi

On this day, your day begins early so you can make the most of Lake Nakuru National Park. You will do an early morning game drive while the animals are still out and about grazing and hunting.

After the game drive, you'll return to the hotel for a leisurely breakfast and check out of the hotel by noon. Then, our driver will pick you up to start your journey back to Nairobi.

On your way to Nairobi, you'll make a scheduled stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you get views of the volcanic Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot. You'll take around 30 to 45 minutes to enjoy the views while you take pictures, and then you proceed with your journey to Nairobi.
Nairobi ETA at around 3.00 pm, leaving ample time for the airport check-in procedures (if outbound) or just checking into your Nairobi stay (Not included but can be arranged on request)
