Longido - Ketumbeni

After pick up in Arusha, you will drive to Longido. Here you will start hiking, the car will transport your luggage. The hike will take like 5-6 hours and you will see giraffes, zebras, impalaas and gerenuk (antelope). The hike will lead you through the forest and scattered area. You will have lunch somewhere in the bush, where the car will be waiting for you. After lunch there is an option, still hiking or the car can bring you to the campsite.

Ketumbeni mountain

Early in the morning you will leave the campsite and start hiking. On the way to the mountain you will see nice views of the Longido mountain, life of the maasai, animals like giraffes, zebras and baboons.
On top of the mountain there is your campsite with a magnificent view of the surrounding volcano. You will see Oldonyo Lengia, Kerimasi and Gelai mountain. Sundown will be fabulous. Your cook will prepare diner.

Ketumbeni mountain - Kale

After breakfast you are going to walk down the mountain and will pass maasai boma's, maasai boys taking care of their life stock, wildebeest, zebras and a lot of birds. You will be walking 4-5 hours and then lunch well be served at the mission house in Kale. In the afternoon you can relax and in the evening visit a small maasai village, Gelai.
Diner will be served at the mission house.

Mission house - Kaldera

After breakfast you will hike up and down for 5-6 hours. You will view nice environment with the volcanic craters in the area because this is all part of the crater highlands. You will be hiking in the southeastern edge of Lake Natron in the East African Rift. You will sleep tonight in a maasai boma, a camp will be set up for you. You will be distributed by the bells of the cows during the night.

Maasai boma - hotsprings Lake Natron

Today you will pass the African Grand Canyon and small Serengeti while you see wildebeest, zebras, ostriches and giraffes. You will walk 4-5 hours and end at the hotsprings of Lake Natron. After lunch you can take a swim in the hotsprings where the fishes nibbling your feet. You can enjoy the beautifull view on Lake Natron and see flamingo's. Diner will be served at the campsite.

Hotsprings Lake Natron - Engaresero

After early breakfast you will walk to the shores of Lake Natron. Again you will pass small Serengeti, where you can encouter a lot of animals. Lunch will be served at Lake Natron Maasai guesthouse and after lunch you will hike to the waterfalls. Tereafter you will drive to lake to see sundown. Diner will be served at the guesthouse.

Serengeti

After early breakfast you will drive to Serengeti to see the most famous national park of Tanzania. You will see lions, zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloos etc. You will do the whole day a game drive and a lunch box is included. Your diner will be served at a tented lodge.
