Mount Bisoke Volcano Hiking – Volcanoes National Park

Your adventure begins early as your driver-guide picks you up at 4:30 AM from your kigali Hotel for transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi. Trek Mount Bisoke, an active volcano straddling Rwanda and the DRC border, ascending through scenic trails to reach the summit and its beautiful crater lake. The hike offers panoramic views of the Virunga Mountains, lakes, and surrounding landscapes. After the trek, transfer to your lodge for relaxation and overnight stay. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or similar.

Golden Monkey Trekking and Return to Kigali

Start the day with an early morning trek to track endangered golden monkeys in the park’s bamboo forests. These agile primates are a delight to observe and the hike is a perfect way to enjoy the forest ambiance while acclimatizing to the altitude. After the trek, embark on a scenic drive of approximately 2.5–3.5 hours back to Kigali. Your private guide and 4WD vehicle will drop you at your preferred location or Kigali International Airport, marking the end of your 2-day adventure.
