Brilliantly Amazing
My two-day trip from Kigali to Uganda, visiting Kisoro and Kalinzu Forest, was absolutely incredible and a truly unforgettable experience.
A huge thank you to my tour driver, Dan, who was reliable, kind and incredibly friendly throughout the journey. He made sure I was well looked after at every stage of the trip and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to experience both gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking — two experiences that I will remember for the rest of my life. I would also like to extend my deepest thanks to Aron and his tour company for making this dream a reality. Thanks to their organisation, support and dedication, I was able to have an amazing time exploring East Africa. I’m eternally grateful for everything you did to make this journey so special. Thank you for helping me create memories that I will treasure forever!

Attentive, Friendly, trust worthy and safe
From the very start Aaron from S2G tours was extremely helpful with all my queries. He always responded promptly and was able create a tour that was suitable for my requested time frame. I had the most amazing time in Rwanda and my driver Richard was very friendly, helpful and accomodating to all my requests. Most of all he made me feel very safe. As a solo female traveller that was one of my concerns but I had nothing to worry about with S2G tours and Richard. Gorilla view lodge that was arranged for me by Aaron was pretty awesome with friendly staff, clean room and delicious food. All and all my Rwanda trip turned out to be the most amazing experience thanks to Aaron and Richard. I highly recommend this Company for anyone who’s planning to visit east Africa.

Aron is the best guide we've had in Africa
Aron was an excellent guide during our trip to Rwanda and Uganda. He was always helpful, friendly, and professional. What impressed us the most was that he always answered all our questions immediately and was always there to help us with anything we needed. Exceptionally well organised
Aron Mugisha personally accompanied us for the entire 12 days and his organisation was incredible and thus ensuring that we had the most amazing Gorilla experiences in Rwanda and Uganda. Once he knew we had an interest in birds he catered to our interest as well.
The Serengeti experience was phenomenal with beautiful accommodation and wildlife encounters. Our overall 12 day experience was faultless and very well organised.

Aron and Dan are the BEST!!
We had a 2 week tour in East Africa with this company. Aron helped us create the perfect itinerary for our needs. He was so patient with us and answered every question we asked in a timely manner. Compared with other tour companies we tried working with, he was the only one who said my daughter could go gorilla trekking in Uganda at 12 years old, and she did and loved every second of it! Everyone else said she had to be 15. His fees were also more reasonable than other tour companies by far, and he gave us the best hotels! Dan was an angel guide and driver. He has such a sweet soul. He is so patient and a very good driver, and tried so hard to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We miss them both so much! We highly recommend this company. They are such a good team and treated us like family!

Highly professional company, best guide and perfectly organized tour
I don't even know where to begin. These two weeks with Safari2Gorilla Tours were truly the trip of a lifetime - although certainly not my last with them.
From the very first contact, everything was seamless and professional. Communication with Aron was excellent; he has a calm, friendly, and professional manner that immediately put me at ease. The entire process, from the initial inquiry and itinerary planning to payment and final arrangements, was smooth and stress-free.
As a woman traveling solo, feeling comfortable and safe is incredibly important to me, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My guide, Martin, was absolutely outstanding. He was calm, professional, organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. His sense of humor, reliability, and deep understanding of the places we visited made every day special. He was always punctual, attentive, and seemed to think of everything before I even had to ask.
For two weeks, I was able to completely switch off and simply enjoy the adventure because Martin took care of every detail. That level of trust and peace of mind is priceless.

Aron was everything you look for in a guide. Local knowledge, honest, kind, trust worthy, very safe.
I booked the 4 day safari with extra gorilla permit and my experience was nothing short of amazing. Aron my guide was a proud local man who shared a lot of information on local traditions, culture, lifestyle and the history of Uganda. The village experience is an absolute must.
I leave this short tour with an understanding of the history in both Uganda and Rwanda, an insight into the culture in both countries and of course incredible memories of the time I spent with the gorillas, nothing compares.

My partner and I did a 3 day Bwindi impenetrable forest gorilla trekking tour with Safari 2 Gorillas. From the outset, with enquiries, Aron was excellent with responsiveness, information, advice and tailoring the itinerary to our schedule
He was very responsive throughout, and greeted us at the airport on arrival. Aron was a very hospitable host & driver, and was very happy to answer all our questions. The tour itself was an incredible experience and we will cherish this forever. He also kindly organised a Batwa community cultural experience at the last minute as we had some extra time.
Overall it was a great experience, and we would highly recommend the tour to others travelling to the area.

This was an excellent tour with a wonderful guide. Martin was a sweet, knowledgeable, funny, and extremely capable guide. We felt safe, and like we got the best of every single experience. Martin went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was once in a lifetime.
Aaron, the company owner, was wonderful to work with as we planned and changed the itinerary in the months in the lead of to our trip. Highly recommend this company! Martin drives an awesome car that we lovingly came to call avocado.

Professional, responsive, flexible
Safari 2 Gorilla Tours (S2GT) organized the Gorilla Habituation trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Uganda) for me, including itinerary, transportation (from/to Kigali), Forest permit and accommodation. Aron of S2GT was my point of contact to discuss itinerary, cost, payment timing and linking me to my transportation driver (Dan). Aron provided clear information and instructions, replied promptly to my queries and worked with me on payment timing due to uncertain circumstances (worldwide oil disruption). Aron followed my trip, in the background, from start to finish. S2GT’s pricing was also the most affordable of three companies I contacted.
Dan, my driver, was fantastic - professional, safe, knowledgeable, client-focused and an interesting conversationalist.
The Gorilla Habitation trek was all and more than I had expected; simply beautiful, humbling, raw and adventurous. The Forest Rangers from the Uganda Wildlife Authority — Chris (lead), Gideon & Chris — and the trackers (Michael, Meti & Silver) were professional, protective, skillful and client-focused.
The accommodations (~35 minutes from the trek entrance) — Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge — was in a serene setting overlooking a lake with a volcano in the background. The staff were professional, courteous and client-focused. The grounds were simple, pleasant. The rooms were clean, simple, comfortable.
All in all, Safari 2 Gorilla Tours did all they could to ensure my trip was smooth and memorable. Truly an amazing experience.
Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Safari 2 Gorilla Tours for your East Africa experience.
