Day 1

Your adventure begins with a 04:30 AM with a pickup from your Kigali hotel. Travel northwest for 2.5–3.5 hours through beautiful landscapes to reach Volcanoes National Park. Embark on a guided hike to the Karisoke Research Center, visiting Dian Fossey’s tomb and learning about her conservation work with mountain gorillas. After the hike, drive back to Kigali, where your private guide will drop you at your hotel or airport. The day concludes with memories of Rwanda’s wildlife and rich history.
