Day 1
Start the day with a pickup from your hotel in Entebbe after an early breakfast. You’ll head to Nakiwogo Ferry Station to board a traditional canoe for an exciting shoebill trekking adventure in the scenic Mabamba Swamp — one of the best places in Africa to see the elusive shoebill stork in its natural habitat.
Thereafter proceed to Mpigi to a visit to the Conservation Thru Commercialization (CTC) Conservation Center — a premier ecotourism destination dedicated to wildlife conservation & sustainable community development. Immerse yourself in nature, interact with local conservationists, and learn about Uganda’s unique biodiversity.
Next, continue your journey to the Equator Line at Kayabwe, where you can stand with one foot in the Northern Hemisphere & the other in the Southern — perfect for unforgettable photo opportunities! Browse local shops for souvenirs & handmade crafts.
After a day full of adventure, return to Entebbe in the evening, marking the end of your memorable tour.
