Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional English-speaking driver guide from Naseeb Safaris. After a short briefing, you will transfer to your booked accommodation for check-in. The rest of the day is reserved for relaxation as you recover from your flight, adjust to the time difference, and prepare for your Uganda adventure in the Pearl of Africa.

Day 2

After breakfast at 7:00–7:30am, we head to Mabamba Wetland, one of the best places in Uganda to spot the rare and prehistoric shoebill stork in its natural habitat. Watching this fascinating bird stand motionless before striking swiftly at its prey is truly unforgettable. After the excursion, we return to the lodge for lunch before transferring to Jinja, the historic city known as the source of the River Nile. Upon arrival, check in at the accommodation and relax for the evening.

This morning, you are free to choose an optional activity of your interest in Jinja. Please note that activity costs are not included and rates may vary depending on your choice.
Adventure lovers can kick-start the safari with an unforgettable white-water rafting experience on the River Nile. No prior experience is required—just get wet, wild, and enjoy the thrill of the rapids ($140). For a calmer experience, you may opt for kayaking along the peaceful sections of the Nile ($30). Alternatively, explore the countryside on a quad biking adventure ($125) or enjoy a scenic mountain biking experience ($30).
After the day’s adventures in Jinja, we continue to the Sipi area in Kapchorwa. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and spend the evening relaxing amidst the beautiful highland scenery.

After breakfast, you will set out to explore the stunning Sipi Falls, a series of three beautiful waterfalls nestled on the slopes of Mount Elgon. The guided hike takes approximately 2–3 hours and offers breathtaking scenery, lush landscapes, and rewarding panoramic views, making it one of the highlights of the Sipi experience.
In the afternoon, enjoy an authentic coffee tour where you will follow the journey of coffee from seed to cup. This informative and interactive experience gives you insight into local coffee farming and traditional processing methods. Later, return to the lodge and relax while enjoying the spectacular views of Sipi Falls right from your accommodation.

After breakfast, we embark on a scenic transfer to Moroto via Soroti. Moroto is a charming town located at the foothills of the majestic Mount Moroto and surrounded by vast savannah plains. This region offers a unique opportunity to connect with some of Uganda’s most indigenous communities, including the Karamojong and the Tepeth people.
We expect to arrive around midday, check in at the camp, and enjoy lunch before heading out to visit the Tepeth community. Originally hunter-gatherers, the Tepeth are believed to be the earliest inhabitants of the Karamoja region. When the nomadic Karamojong migrated into the area, the Tepeth retreated into the highlands, where they continue to live today. This cultural encounter provides a fascinating insight into their traditions, lifestyle, and history.

After breakfast, we set out for a half-day trek on the slopes of Mount Moroto. This relatively easy hike offers breathtaking views, unique landscapes, and rewarding encounters with the highland communities of Karamoja. Along the trail, you will experience the beauty of the region while learning about the lifestyle and traditions of the local people.
After returning for lunch and some relaxation, we head out for an authentic Karamojong village experience. This cultural visit provides a rare opportunity to witness one of Uganda’s last remaining traditional ways of life. Engage with the community through their daily activities, traditional homesteads, colorful dances, and local games. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and warm hospitality of the Karamojong people for a truly unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, we depart for Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Africa’s most remote and spectacular wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch, and take some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
Game viewing will take place in the Narus Valley, located in the southern sector of the park. This area is characterized by open savannah grasslands dotted with acacia woodland and is home to permanent water sources that attract large concentrations of wildlife throughout the year. Keep an eye out for large herds of buffaloes, elephants, zebras, and various antelope species, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a sunrise game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park. The early morning hours provide excellent opportunities to spot wildlife as the animals become active across the savannah. Look out for lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and many other species in their natural habitat.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax during the afternoon. Later, head out for a cultural encounter with the Karamojong community. Spend the afternoon and evening interacting with the local people as you gain insight into their traditions, beliefs, and unique way of life. This authentic cultural experience offers a deeper connection to the heritage of the Karamoja region.

Gulu offers a powerful story of hope, recovery, and progress, where communities have moved beyond their painful past and embraced life with optimism and joy.
