Day 1

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will proceed through immigration and security, where officials will verify your passport, visa, and other necessary travel documents. Please ensure these are readily available for a smooth entry process. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, make your way to the arrivals area. A Kojuu Safaris driver-guide will be waiting to welcome you, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. You’ll be greeted with a warm smile, assisted with your luggage, and escorted to your private transfer vehicle. From there, you’ll enjoy a comfortable drive to Arusha city, where your safari adventure begins.

Today, you will journey into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “8th Wonder of the World.” This vast, unbroken volcanic caldera—one of the most remarkable wildlife havens on Earth—is home to over 25,000 large mammals, including lions, black rhinos, zebras, elephants, and hyenas. As you descend into this natural amphitheater, you’ll experience close-up encounters with wildlife set against a backdrop of lush plains and shimmering soda lakes, earning its reputation as “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, you’ll ascend from the crater and drive to your accomodation which is located inside conversation area for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, your Kojuu Safaris driver-guide will pick you up for the scenic drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, a vast wilderness spanning nearly 15,000 square kilometers. Nicknamed “the endless plains” by the Maasai, the Serengeti is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary wildlife. Home to the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino—the park also hosts the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move in search of fresh grazing. From sweeping savannahs to iconic rocky outcrops, every turn offers a new discovery. After an exciting day of game viewing, you’ll arrive at your lodge within the park, where you can unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the raw beauty of the Serengeti.

Awaken to the gentle sounds of the African wilderness and start your day with a refreshing breakfast in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Today’s full-day game drive will immerse you in one of the world’s most iconic ecosystems—a true paradise for wildlife lovers. The Serengeti is home to around 3,000 lions, often seen resting in the shade or lounging under acacia trees, famously inspiring The Lion King. As you explore the vast plains, you may also encounter bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, and a rich variety of birdlife, including the majestic Kori bustard and colorful Fischer’s lovebird. After a day filled with thrilling wildlife encounters and breathtaking scenery, return to your lodge within the park to relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and fall asleep under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 5

Northern Serengeti National Park

Awaken to breakfast at your camp before setting out for the Northern Serengeti, where you’ll witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration and the legendary Mara River crossings. Arriving around 10:00 AM, you’ll head directly to the riverbank to watch thousands of wildebeests and zebras risk the treacherous, crocodile-infested waters in search of new grazing grounds.
By midday, your guide will lead you to a picturesque bush setting—or a designated picnic site—where you’ll savor a freshly prepared lunch al fresco. At approximately 1:30 PM, continue your afternoon game drive, seeking out the region’s diverse wildlife, from towering elephants and graceful giraffes to stealthy big cats and colorful bird species. As the sun begins to dip, you’ll return to your lodge or tented camp—about 30 to 40 minutes away—where a delicious dinner and the serenade of the Serengeti night await you.

Waking up in the Serengeti is a truly magical experience—surrounded by the sights, sounds, and scents of the African wilderness. After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, venturing across the vast plains in search of the park’s extraordinary wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffalo, eland, gazelles, and with a bit of luck, elusive predators like cheetahs or the rare black rhino.
Midday, you’ll return to the lodge for a hot lunch and a chance to rest during the heat of the day, just as the animals do. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, unwind with a book, or treat yourself to a spa session if available. In the late afternoon, set out again for another game drive, when the golden light and cooler temperatures bring the savannah to life. As the sun sets, you’ll return to the lodge for a relaxing evening, a delicious dinner served between 7:00 and 7:30 PM, and time to share safari stories before retreating for a restful night under the Serengeti sky.

Fly out Kogatende to Arusha then drop of at Kilimanjaro Airport

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the camp and driven to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will be taken to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home. ( Domestic flight is excluded).
