Arusha to Tarangire
We will travel two hours to Tarangire National Park, which is renowned for its varied terrain. The park offers exceptional opportunities to witness the interactions between elephant families and is especially well-known for its profusion of ancient baobab trees and the highest concentration of elephants in the entire nation. As herbivores (giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, etc.) are abundant throughout the park, we will conduct a game drive based on reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetahs, & leopards as they are harder to spot). Later on, you'll visit the Tarangire River Picnic Site to take in the lovely scenery of the river and wildlife while eating lunch. A few baby monkeys and baboons may try to rob you of your food, but you shouldn't be alarmed.
We'll continue the game drive after lunch and leave the park at 4:30 p.m., arriving at Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

The colors of Lake Natron, which range from pink to lime green to red, will captivate you because of the high mineral concentration.
