Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

A representative from Sercer Serengeti Wildlife Excursion Safaris will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am. You will then embark on a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park where you will have a full-day game drive. After the game drive, you will proceed to Jungle Pearl Resort (Lodge) to have dinner and spend the night. Tarangire National Park is located 115km (71 mi) away from Arusha and covers an area of 2,800 sq km (1,081 sq mi). Wild animals frequently gather at the Tarangire River, which is where the park gets its name. The park is home to a significant number of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and ancient baobab trees. Lions, leopards, and other animals can also be spotted during the game drive.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After having breakfast, we will start a drive to Serengeti National Park via Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we will pass through the scenic highland farmland of Karatu. As we continue our journey, we will leave the highlands behind and descend into the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is the heart of untamed Africa, with its vast grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see. Next, we will head to the Seronera section of the park, which is considered as one of the park's best areas for viewing wildlife. The Seronera River is a crucial water source for this region and attracts a variety of wildlife that represents most of the Serengeti's species. We will arrive in time for lunch and then take an afternoon gamedrive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 3

We will wake up at 6 am to have breakfast and witness the sunrise over the Serengeti until 11:30 am. Then, we will head back to the campsite for a hot lunch. After lunch, we will load your luggage into the Jeep and depart for Ngorongoro Crater, with a game drive en route. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Rhino Lodge.

Day 4

The day starts early in the morning with breakfast, followed by descending 600 meters (2,000 feet) to the crater floor in a 4x4 vehicle. We will spend the rest of the day observing wildlife in the Garden of Eden, located in the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive volcanic crater with diverse habitats such as abundant grassland, marshes, woodland, and constant water. The fauna is diverse and prolific due to the varied habitats. Later, we will drive to Jungle Pearl for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, we will drive from the lodge with packed lunch boxes as we head towards the entrance gate of Lake Manyara National Park. Once we obtain all the necessary gate passes, we will enter the park and be greeted by baboons in the first forest. As we move forward, we may also spot elephants, gazelles, tree-climbing lions, and many other wildlife species. After enjoying lunch, we will drive back to the airport or your hotel in Arusha.
