Spanning an impressive 331 square kilometers, this World Heritage-listed sanctuary, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, is one of the continent's oldest ecosystems. It has withstood the test of time, persevering through the last Ice Age when many other forests on the continent disappeared into history.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Batwa Community Walk
Start your day with a delicious breakfast, ensuring you're well-prepared for the adventures ahead. Grab your packed lunch and make your way to the nearby park headquarters, just a stone's throw away. Here, you'll receive a comprehensive briefing, be assigned to your respective Gorilla groups, and then trek into the forest. The duration of your trek through Bwindi can vary, spanning from 2 to 8 hours, contingent upon the Gorillas' movements.
Upon locating them, you'll spend up to 1 hour observing and photographing the gorillas. Following the trek, savor a well-deserved lunch and receive your official Gorilla trekking certificate. After, meet your guide and transfer back to the lodge.
In the evening, you will have a community walk around the Batwa Communities. If you want to carry out some charity and donate to households that were displaced from the Bwindi Forest, this is a perfect opportunity to do it.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Afternoon Boat Cruise
After your morning meal, you will journey to Lake Mburo National Park. En route, you will have lunch in Mbarara.
Upon entering the park, you'll embark on an afternoon boat cruise, providing an excellent opportunity to observe hippos, crocodiles, and other mammals along the lake's shoreline. Bird enthusiasts will have the chance to spot numerous avian species, including the African finfoot, African grey hornbill, Brown Parrot, Common Scimitarbill, Crested Francolin, fish eagles, herons, Nubian Woodpecker, papyrus bush strike, pelicans, shoebill stork, weaver birds, white-winged warbler, and Yellow-breasted Apalis.
Following the boat cruise, you'll enjoy a brief evening game drive before transferring to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive, Transfer to Entebbe & End of Trip
Begin your day with an early morning wake-up call, and while enjoying your tea, prepare for an early morning game drive in the park. Enjoy breathtaking vistas of the park, including its rolling hills and some lakes. During the game drive, you'll explore the park's deeper regions in search of zebras, eland, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, impalas, klipspringers, and various other mammals. This morning adventure might also provide you with the opportunity to spot night creatures and predators like hyenas, leopards, and jackals.
Following the morning game drive, you will transfer to Entebbe for drop-off, marking the conclusion of your journey.
