Commencing your day with a satisfying breakfast at your Entebbe hotel or following an early-morning pickup from the airport, our experienced tour guide will be there to greet you and transfer to the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
As far as names go, there are few that evoke the essence of Africa as vividly as the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi. Picture vast expanses of steep mountains enveloped in dense, humid jungle, and you're on the right track. Spanning an impressive 331 square kilometers, this World Heritage-listed sanctuary, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, is one of the continent's oldest ecosystems. It has withstood the test of time, persevering through the last Ice Age when many other forests on the continent disappeared into history.
In the evening, you will have a community walk around the Batwa Communities. If you want to carry out some charity and donate to households that were displaced from the Bwindi Forest, this is a perfect opportunity to do it.
